What it is

RMBG-2-Studio is a free, local image background remover built on the BRIA RMBG 2.0 model and installed with one click through Pinokio. You drop in an image, it cuts out the subject, and you get a clean transparent PNG. No account, no watermark, no per-cutout fee.

Why it matters

Background removal is one of those tasks that gets quietly monetised: per-image credits through web tools, or a monthly subscription for API access. RMBG-2-Studio runs the model on your own machine, so the marginal cost of the hundredth cutout is zero, and client images never leave your computer.

Where it falls short
